Evaluation of Documentary

This should be a considered piece of work. You need to reflect on and dmonstrate how you are learning.

Think carefully about the three stages of production.
1. Research and planning
2. Production
3. Post-production

1. How did you tackle the r and p ement? (What did you watch and what did you learn from it? What did your lessons on the subject teach you or make you think? How did you attitude towards documentaries as a form alter? What parts of the brief did you decide to incorporate into your production and how did this influence planning? When you started planning how did you proceed - mindmap? flow chart? discussion and notes? How did you develop the storyboard? Did you work on a shot list, was it useful?
2. Did you manage to stick to a shooting schedule? How did you address the feel of continuity within your shooting? How did you allocate roles? Were there issues arising from use of equipment? What was time management Like? Did working in a group make life easier or more difficult? Did you encounter any unforeseen problems?
3. How was the edditinf process? What was time consuming? Did you need extra material? Had you shot enough? How did you manage the post production skills of voice overs, captions, transitions, title sequences, adding stills for montage purposes? How did the time element work?
Basically what are you learning to make your Advanced Cousework easier and more enjoyable? What skills do you need to work on? Are you moving on?

Work to be done!

Greetings Minions!

Well done again on the music videos.

Now we need to make sure we have our evaluations done and blogged.

Homework on documentaries completed, an evaluation of Grierson's theory in relation to One Day In September.
